Rockwood

My brother and his kids came down from Quebec this month, so we (my sister and her kids too) decided to take a little day-trip out to Rockwood Conservation Area which is in the town of Rockwood (go figure) near Guelph, Ontario. It is a beautiful place, surrounded by cliffs, trees, caves, trails and so much more. Every time I go there I feel like I'm in a different land, it's amazing. Well, here are a few shots from our little adventure.

Photo Safari

As some of you know, I am a member of the PPO (Professional Photographers of Ontario) and I'm in the executive committee of the Hamilton/Niagara Branch of the PPO. Every couple of months we organize workshops and seminars for photographers (ourselves included, of course) to attend, and learn from other's like us in the photography industry. It's a great way to stay connected and up-to-date with the latest trends.

This month we decided to do something a little different, so we had our first ever "Photo Safari"!  We had 3 beautiful models, hair and make-up artists and 12-15 photographers. We found some hot little spots in Downtown Hamilton where we took the models and all the photographers to, and we all did some fun and creative shooting. Here is a small sample of what I came up with on our first Photo Safari...
